 What is the WPC 2026?

Consequently, the World Parkinson Congress is the only congress that also comprises care partners and people with Parkinson’s disease in it. WPC 2026 is set to be a learning event during which various facets of Parkinson are covered including scientific presentations, hands on demonstrations, and shared life experiences.

Participants include the neuroscientists, clinicians (MD, RN, NP, PA SW), rehabilitation specialist (PT, OT, SLP, MT), nutritionists, PwP and their families. The Congress endeavours to avoid established paradigms and ask for interdisciplinary approaches.

 How to Get Involved

There are several opportunities through which anyone with interest as well as firms may get involved with the WPC 2026. We are currently recruiting new Parkinson’s disease and Science Ambassadors, both of which are Parkinson’s disease patients and researchers/clinicians. Ambassadors also are needed as they participate in promoting the Congress and getting in touch with local communities to cover a wider pool of people.

They can also fill out a monthly raffle entry where they can download the official “See you in Phoenix at WPC 2026” logo, pose with it, and share it on social media. This is an effective way through which people can pass the word around while at the same time being in a position to be able to win any of the 24 exciting prizes.

WPC 2026 could not have been successful without the support of its Champion Partners such as the Parkinson’s Foundation, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and the American Parkinson Disease Association
