Miami International did not make the playoffs this season, but the arrival of Lionel Messi still won the team the League Cup, and recently Miami International's 21-year-old midfielder Facundo Farias expressed his admiration for playing with Messi. He said in an interview: in order to play with Messi I would rather move, his wife knew once wanted to kill me.
Farias said: "I couldn't resist the temptation of joining Miami International, my wife was still at school when I moved from Argentina to Miami International this summer, but we had to move because of it and she almost tried to kill me. I said, I want to play with Messi."
Farias also spoke about his life experiences, and how he had a very difficult time when his mother died of cancer when he was 10 years old, and shortly after that, his grandfather died as well. But thankfully he persevered and now he has received his first call-up to the Argentina national team, making the 2026 World Cup qualifying squad.
